ABOUT YOU

Cross Campus is seeking a structured, detail-oriented self-starter to support our accounting and Campus teams. The successful candidate will have accounting or finance experience and strong written communication skills.

Reporting directly to the Head of Accounting, the Accounting & Administrative Associate will gain experience with operational accounting across several departments. The role includes bookkeeping and invoicing as well as member communications to support the Campus Operations teams at all steps of the member lifecycle. 

ROLE DESCRIPTION

  • ‍Billing-related member communications (mostly by email)
  • ‍Supporting campus operations teams during new member sign-up, including invoicing
  • ‍Member account management, including monthly usage billing and accounts receivable management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • ‍1yr+ bookkeeping experience
  • ‍1yr+ experience in a customer-facing role
  • ‍Strong understanding of bookkeeping and finance
  • ‍Excellent written communication skills
  • ‍Proficiency with Excel, and experience building and running reports
  • ‍Self-motivated, structures own work, comfortable working with remote teams
  • ‍Comfortable in startup environment
  • ‍Attention to detail
  • ‍2-year or 4-year undergraduate degree – accounting or finance concentration strongly preferred
  • ‍Some back-office administrative experience preferred
  • ‍Quickbooks experience preferred
