LA Launch of SNDBath.com with Sensory Sound Bath at Cross Campus Santa Monica, Studio C
Tuesday, September 17, 2019
7:00 - 8:00pm
Reception to follow Sound Bath
Hosts: Kim Koury, SPIN PR Group, Rebecca Turk
At the LA Launch of SNDBath.com, sound healing practitioner, Reiki Master and transformation coach, Rebecca Turk, will provide a unique Sensory Sound Bath experience at Cross Campus Santa Monica. Rebecca’s sound bath experiences are cleansing and rejuvenating on the deepest cellular levels.
Rebecca will take participants on a meditative and healing journey of sound. This virtual journey of sound incorporates the angelic healing sounds which radiate from her quartz crystal bowls tuned to the 7-point chakra system (your body’s energy system), a native drum will mimic the sound of ocean waves which are cleansing and clearing and finally, gentle tones from Koshi chimes tuned specifically to the four elements will complete the experience.
Vibrational sound healing has been shown to help reduce stress, promote restful sleep, and relax tension in the body by producing a specific resonance and tone. Sound baths are designed to relax the body, nervous system, mind, and energy systems. When these systems are allowed to relax and release, healing can begin. In our culture, we are becoming more and more aware of holistic approaches for relaxation and healing to combat the everyday stresses of modern life. A sound bath can offer the perfect solution. It gives you the opportunity to go inward on your own terms to allow the healing to begin naturally.
Sound baths are meant to help facilitate a shift in your brainwave state. Through frequency with sound it’s possible, and very easy, to shift our normal beta state (alert, concentrating, reacting) to an alpha (creative, relaxed), and even theta (meditative state) and delta (deep sleep; where restoring and healing can occur).
How it works
The human body is made of 60% water and by being exposed to the vibration of musical instruments, one can gently dislodge or break up blocked energy or other ailments in the body to restore it to its original state of health. The body is designed to heal itself and sound healing can help speed up the process.
