Come celebrate World Whiskey Day with some old fashioned Irish fun!
Join us at Cross Campus Santa Monica for a tasting session with Tullamore D.E.W. on May 15th.
In the 1800s Irish Whiskey was the most popular spirit in the world, and no-one drank it more than us in the US—except maybe the Irish!
Since then it's had its ups and downs, but today Irish Whiskey is the fastest growing spirit in the world. So isn’t it about time we learned a little more about the story of this special liquid—all the while having a bit of fun?
In preparation for World Whiskey Day on May 18th, Donna Stewart, ambassador from Tullamore D.E.W. (the second biggest Irish Whiskey in the world), will host a 30-minute session featuring some history, whiskey facts and samples of Tullamore D.E.W.'s finest marques.
Just for fun, Donna will demonstrate how you can make an Irish old fashioned at home, and will invite some guests to make their own.
As Tullamore is known to be the friendliest whiskey, this session will cater to whiskey newbies and connoisseurs alike!
