Join us for a discussion on mental health in the Black community and how technology is both helping and hurting our people.

About this Event

It's time to talk about technology and mental health. More specifically the mental health of Black women, men, and children as it relates to technology today. In this series of discussions we will be talking with technologist, mental health counselors, social workers, and more about the impacts (good and bad) that technology is having on our community.

This is meant to be an active discussion about the Black experience in its many forms. With so many fighting to correct the stigmas in the Black community regarding mental health now is the time to infuse technology into the discussion.

What can we as technologist do to combat the growing problems that unaddressed mental health concerns are having on the community? How can we as leaders and taste makers use our expertise to help solve the issues created by trauma in Black families. It's time that we share our stories, brainstorm solutions, and exchange resources to eradicate the harmful notions about Black mental health once and for all.

Your questions and comments are encouraged as we will be sharing them with our guest speakers. Join and participate with us in this series of live discussions. We are relying on you, your thoughts, and opinions to help drive the conversation. Tell a friend to tell a friend and we'll see you there!
